Susan Ivey is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Reynolds American Inc., as well as president of RAI Services Company. She became chairman of Reynolds American on Jan. 1, 2006, and president, chief executive officer and a director of Reynolds American in January 2004. She became president of RAI Services in January 2010. She also served as chairman of RAI's largest subsidiary, R.J. Reynolds, from July 2004 through April 2008.
Ivey was formerly president and chief executive officer of Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation (B&W), a subsidiary of British American Tobacco that was the third-largest manufacturer and marketer of cigarettes in the United States prior to the merger of its U.S. operations with Reynolds Tobacco in July 2004. At that time, Reynolds American became the new parent company.
With more than 20 years of U.S. and international experience, Ivey served as head of international brands and earlier as director of marketing in China for British American Tobacco.
Ivey joined Brown & Williamson Tobacco in 1981 as a sales representative, and held various trade and brand positions, including division manager and brand director, prior to her international assignments in 1990. She returned to Brown & Williamson in 1999 and served as senior vice president of marketing and a member of the company's executive committee prior to her elevation to president and CEO in January 2001.
Ivey is ranked No. 26 in Fortune magazine's 2009 listing of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Business and is No. 58 in Forbes magazine's 2009 World's 100 Most Powerful Women. She is also ranked No. 33 in the Financial Times' 2009 Top 50 Women in World Business.
Ivey serves on the Women's Leadership Initiative for the United Way of America. She is a board member of the United Way of Forsyth County, Winston-Salem YWCA, Senior Services, Inc. in Winston-Salem and Salem College. She also serves on the boards of the University of Florida Foundation and RR Donnelley.
Ivey received an MBA degree from Bellarmine University in May, 1987 and a bachelor of science - business degree from the University of Florida in 1980.

Daniel (Daan) M. Delen is chairman, president and chief executive officer of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, the largest subsidiary of Reynolds American Inc.
Before joining R.J. Reynolds as president in January 2007, Delen was the president of British American Tobacco Ltd. (BAT) - Japan.
Delen joined the BAT family of companies as a brand manager in Guatemala in 1989. In 1992, he became an international brand manager for BAT in London. He became marketing director in Singapore in 1994, moved to Chile as marketing director in 1995, and assumed that role in Argentina in 1996.
In January 2001, Delen was promoted to senior vice president of marketing and sales for BAT's U.S. subsidiary, Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp. He became president of BAT's business unit in Japan in August 2004.
Prior to joining BAT, Delen began his marketing career with Sara Lee Corp. in London.
Delen is a board member of the Winston-Salem Alliance, an economic development group.
A native of the Netherlands, Delen earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a specialization in international business from Washington State University.

Thomas R. Adams is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Reynolds American Inc. (RAI) and subsidiary RAI Services Company. He joined the company in 1999 as senior vice president and controller of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Holdings, Inc. (RJR). He was named senior vice president and chief accounting officer for Reynolds American and R.J. Reynolds in 2004, and became senior vice president – business processes for R.J. Reynolds the following year. Adams was named senior vice president – business process of Reynolds American in 2006, and senior vice president and chief accounting officer for RAI in 2007. He was promoted to executive vice president and chief financial officer of RAI on Jan. 1, 2008, and added responsibility for RAI Services in January 2010.
From 1985 until 1999, Adams was a partner at the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Adams is a member of the board of directors of the Old Hickory Council of the Boy Scouts of America and Allegacy Federal Credit Union, and the board of commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Winston-Salem, N.C.
A native of Pine Grove, Penn., Adams earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Duke University.

Nicholas A. Bumbacco is president and chief executive officer of Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company, Inc., a subsidiary of Reynolds American Inc. (RAI). He assumed this position in March 2009.
Bumbacco was previously president of RAI's R.J. Reynolds Global Products, Inc. (GPI). Prior to September 2007, he spent two years as president and chief executive officer of Lane, Limited, another RAI subsidiary.
Bumbacco has 19 years of U.S. and international tobacco experience with the British American Tobacco (BAT) group of companies and with RAI. He started his tobacco career as a field sales representative for Imperial Tobacco Ltd. in Canada and progressed through a number of managerial positions before moving to the United States in 1994 as the national sales manager, heading up Imperial Tobacco's international expansion.
In 1996, Bumbacco moved to Malaysia as the regional trade marketing director for BAT Malaysia. He returned to the United States in 1999 as the Minneapolis region director for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation, and moved to B&W's headquarters as director of specialty markets in 2000. In 2001, Bumbacco was appointed director of sponsorship & HoReCa, overseeing the company's CART racing program and its consumer communication & entertainment programs. He became director of strategic account management in November of 2001 and held that position until March of 2004. In 2004, Bumbacco was promoted to vice president of trade marketing at Lane, Limited. He was promoted to president and chief executive officer of Lane in 2005 and assumed his previous position at GPI in 2007.
Bumbacco serves as the president and chairman of the board for the SFNTC Foundation and is the advisory council co-chair for the American Red Cross - Sante Fe. He also serves on Santa Fe's Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Bumbacco is a native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He holds a bachelor's of science degree in business management from Lake Superior State University in Michigan.

Lisa J. Caldwell is executive vice president of human resources for Reynolds American Inc. (RAI) and subsidiary, RAI Services Company.
Caldwell joined RAI's largest subsidiary, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, in 1991 as manager of employment practices. Between 1993 and 1995, she served as a personnel manager for the company's manufacturing division and later for its engineering department. She was promoted to director of human resources in 1996, and managed various human-resources programs including strategic planning prior to becoming vice president of human resources in January 2002. Caldwell became senior vice president of human resources for RAI and R.J. Reynolds in 2006, and was promoted to executive vice president -human resources of both companies in June 2008. In January, 2010, she became executive vice president and chief human resources officer for RAI and RAI Services.
Before joining Reynolds Tobacco, Caldwell's experience included working as an attorney for two firms in Winston-Salem, N.C. – Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, and West and Banks.
She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Winston-Salem State University and the University of North Carolina Board of Visitors. She is a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and a member of The Moles, Inc.
A native of Burlington, N.C., Caldwell earned a juris doctor degree in 1986 from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she was a Wake Forest Law Scholar. She was also a Morehead Scholar and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1983.

He was promoted to divisional vice president - value brands in 1994, and was appointed divisional vice president - strategy and planning in 1996. Carpenter also served as manager - strategy for British American Tobacco from 2000-2003. He joined RAI in August 2004 as vice president - strategy and planning and was promoted to senior vice president - strategy and planning in January 2006. He joined Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company (B&W) as a sales representative in 1990. He later served as a divisional sales manager for B&W before becoming a brand manager for Kool in 1994.
Dunham held managerial positions in forecasting and analysis and later strategy and planning at B&W, and then became brand director - value brands in 1999. In 2001, Dunham was promoted to marketing director for British American Tobacco (BAT) Polska based in Warsaw, Poland.
He joined R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company as vice president - Pall Mall and support brands in 2004, following the combination of R.J. Reynolds and the U.S. operations of B&W, and he became vice president - new growth innovations for R.J. Reynolds in 2007. He was promoted to senior vice president - consumer marketing for R.J. Reynolds on Oct. 1, 2008.
A native of Southern California, Dunham earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Richmond and a master's degree in business administration from The College of William & Mary.

Jeffery S. Gentry is executive vice president and chief scientific officer for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, the largest subsidiary of Reynolds American Inc. (RAI). He assumed this position in January 2010.
Gentry was previously RAI's group executive vice president, responsible for two of RAI's three operating companies, Conwood Company, LLC and Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company, Inc., as well as RJRT-Puerto Rico. He was also responsible for corporate-wide regulatory oversight.
Gentry joined R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in 1986 as a research and development chemist. In 1989, he was promoted to senior R&D chemist. Gentry was named senior staff R&D chemist in 1993 and was promoted to master scientist in 1996. He was promoted to senior manager of new product development in 1998 and was named director of new product development the following year. In 2000, Gentry was promoted to vice president of product development.
Gentry was promoted to executive vice president of research and development at R.J. Reynolds in December 2004. He was promoted to group executive vice president with Reynolds American in April 2008.
Prior to joining Reynolds Tobacco, Gentry worked as an assistant in research and teaching at N.C. State University.
A native of Winston-Salem, Gentry earned a bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also earned a doctorate in analytical chemistry from N.C. State University, with a minor in electronic engineering.
Gentry is a member of the American Chemical Society.

From July 1, 2008, until Jan. 1, 2010, he was executive vice president - chief financial officer and chief information officer for R.J. Reynolds.
Gilchrist joined RAI in 2004 as senior director – business development. He was promoted to vice president – integrated business management for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company on Jan. 1, 2006, and became senior vice president and chief financial officer for the company on Nov. 1, 2006.
Gilchrist began his career in 1994 as a sales representative with Helene Curtis. In 1997 he joined Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation (B&W) as a management trainee. He later held a number of management positions at B&W and its parent company, British American Tobacco. On July 30, 2004, R.J. Reynolds and the U.S. operations of B&W were combined, and Reynolds American became R.J. Reynolds' new parent company.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Gilchrist earned a bachelor of science degree in economics from Purdue University and a master's degree in business administration from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve.

Herko joined R.J. Reynolds in 1980 in the manufacturing division. After holding a variety of production positions in manufacturing, he became research and development international brand manager in 1992.
In 2000, he joined Japan Tobacco International in Geneva, Switzerland, following the sale of RJR Nabisco Holdings Corp.'s international tobacco business to Japan Tobacco.
In 2002, Herko returned to R.J. Reynolds as director of product development in the company's R&D department. He was promoted to senior director of product development in 2005, and became vice president of reduced risk and applied development in R&D the following year. He assumed his current position in March 2008.

Hickman was promoted to senior vice president - manufacturing in July 2002, and became senior vice president - operations in October 2008.
Prior to joining Reynolds Tobacco, Hickman held the position of quality manager for Anchor Continental, Inc. in Columbia, S.C.
Hickman is a certified quality engineer, a certified quality auditor and a certified reliability engineer. He is a member of the board of directors of Allegacy Federal Credit Union and a board member for the Piedmont Section of the American Society for Quality. Hickman is a member of the Educational Foundation Board at the University of South Carolina. He was awarded the 2001 Distinguished Young Alumnus Award by USC.

Holton began his legal career in 1982 as an associate at Ford and Harrison in Atlanta, Ga. He joined Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC in 1984 as an associate and became a partner there in 1990.
A native of High Point, N.C., Holton earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a law degree with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1982.

E. Julia "Judy" Lambeth is executive vice president and general counsel of Reynolds American Inc. (RAI) and subsidiary RAI Services Company. Lambeth joined Reynolds American in September 2006, following a career with DuPont, its Conoco energy subsidiary and Conoco's successor, ConocoPhillips, which included a wide range of assignments in corporate, commercial and environmental law, and litigation. She joined DuPont as an attorney in 1977 and focused primarily on environmental issues until 1992, when she moved to Houston and subsequently became assistant general counsel for Conoco.
From 1993 to 1997, Lambeth led the group that provided environmental, safety and health regulatory and litigation counsel to all of Conoco's operations and to DuPont facilities in Texas and Louisiana. In 1997, she moved to Hong Kong, where she served as associate general counsel of DuPont's business in the Asia-Pacific region. Lambeth returned to the United States in 2001 and served as Conoco's corporate secretary and deputy general counsel through Conoco's 2002 merger with Phillips Petroleum. She served as ConocoPhillips' corporate secretary and deputy general counsel, corporate services, from 2002 to 2006.
Lambeth is a member of the N.C. Bar and the Wake Forest Law School Board of Visitors. She also serves on the boards of the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA) in Winston-Salem and the Winston-Salem Symphony.

O'Brien joined R.J. Reynolds Tobacco as a marketing assistant in 1995 and held positions of increasing responsibility before being promoted to marketing manager on the Eclipse brand in 1998. O'Brien left the company in 2000 to work as marketing director at Suntory Water Group, returning to R.J. Reynolds as senior marketing manager on the Doral brand in mid-2001. He was promoted to marketing director in 2003 and a year later he was promoted to vice president of marketing, overseeing the company's flagship Camel brand. In January 2006, O'Brien was promoted to senior vice president of consumer marketing, responsible for Reynolds Tobacco's total brand portfolio. He was then appointed president of Reynolds Innovations, Inc., a subsidiary of RAI, in January 2009. Reynolds Innovations focuses on innovation, consumer and market insights, competitive assessment and maximizing trademark equity across RAI's operating companies.
O'Brien is a native of Isle of Palms, S.C. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from The Citadel and a Masters of Business Administration from Wake Forest University.

Tommy J. Payne is president of Niconovum USA, a subsidiary of Reynolds American Inc. (RAI). He assumed this position in January 2010.
Payne was previously executive vice president – public affairs of RAI and its largest subsidiary, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company (R.J. Reynolds). Payne joined the Washington, D.C., office of RJR Nabisco in 1988.
Payne served as executive vice president – external relations of R.J. Reynolds and its parent company, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Holdings, Inc. (RJR) from July 1999 to July 2004. RJR became a subsidiary of Reynolds American in July 2004, at which time Payne assumed his current role. He became executive vice president - public affairs of R.J. Reynolds in October 2008 and served on its Leadership Team.
Payne serves as a board member of the North Carolina Community Colleges Foundation, Inc. Stockdale joined R.J. Reynolds in 1979 as an area sales representative. After holding a variety of management positions in field sales, he was promoted to national sales planning manager in 1988. Stockdale was promoted to director – wholesale strategies and program development in 1994, and was named director of retail and wholesale trade marketing the following year. In 1996, he became vice president of sales strategy and operations, and was promoted to senior vice president of R. J. Reynolds' consumer and trade marketing operations in 2006.
Stockdale is a native of Painesville, Ohio. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in marketing from High Point University in North Carolina. He is also a graduate of Darden Business School's Strategic Marketing Management Program.

Susan B. Wilson is senior vice president of risk and compliance services for Reynolds American Inc. (RAI). Wilson reports administratively to RAI's CEO and functionally to the Audit and Finance Committee of the RAI Board of Directors.
Wilson joined Reynolds Tobacco in 1988 as a financial analyst in operations finance. In 1991, she was promoted to manager, leaf accounting. Between 1991 and 2001, she held various financial management positions of increasing responsibility in operations finance and marketing finance. In January 2002, Wilson was promoted to director internal audit. She was appointed vice president and general auditor for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Holdings, Inc. in 2003, and has served in that position with RAI since it became a publicly traded company in 2004. Wilson also became chief risk officer for RAI in February 2009.
Wilson was promoted in May 2010 to senior vice president of risk and compliance services for RAI. Treasury & Risk magazine selected her as one of its 100 Most Influential People in Finance in its 2010 listing.
A native of North Augusta, S.C., Wilson holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from N.C. State University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Wilson is a certified public accountant and is a member of the N.C. Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Internal Auditors. She also serves on the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Initiative Advisory Board at NC State University and on the Audit Director Roundtable (ADR) Advisory Council for the Corporate Executive Board.
